New Recipe to Try!

I have been knitting my fingers to the bones lately, and I LOVE IT!! That kind of creativity sure relieves stress for me. Not that I have any stress... In the past couple of weeks I have made a family of bunnies 1 big one and 5 little ones (so far). Then I had to make a sweater for the big one, she just looked like she needed something. I have made 2 ponchos for Mahlon one just white and the other off white.... every 6 month old girl needs that kind of diversification in her wardrobe! Sunday in the church bulletin there was an announcement for a baby shower for our pastor's first grand child to be born in 2 months, but the shower in next Sunday!!! Oh my, so I am now only half done with sweater for that baby, and when I got to work today I found out that the one of the girls that I work with is having her shower this Saturday! YIKES!!! needles are flying now! I already promised her a sweater for her baby too. Plus one of my managers saw the bunnies that I have been making and wants one pink and one blue for upcoming baby gifts too. Fortunately, I already have a pink one done for her!
Shew! with all that knitting going on I haven't done much baking lately... but Erin, my 12 year old daughter, brought a kids cookbook home from school the other day, and the recipe that she wanted to try was AWESOME!! I was a little sceptical, but it really turned out great! and soooo easy!

  GOOEY CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE

1 c. dry all-purpose baking mix
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

spray the inside of slow cooker, mix ingredients throughly and spread into slow cooker,

1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa powder
1 2/3 c. HOT water

Mix together really good and pour over cake batter in the slow cooker. cover and cook for 2 hours. Check with a toothpick and if it has some dry crumbs then it is ready... it may need to cook for up to another hour, but check it every 15 mins.
Serve warm with ice cream or top with powdered sugar and whipped cream!!!
 YUMMY~
